21.03.2012: Awards ceremony at the 15th Aachener Dienstleistungsforum!
On Wednesday, the 21.03.2012, the awards ceremony for the second Service-Innovation-Award of the Walter-Eversheim-Stiftung
was held during the evening event of the 15th Aachener Dienstleistungsforum.
From November 2011 to February 2012, over 60 students from the RWTH Aachen
and Maastricht University competed for the Innovation Award "Dienstleistung 2012" of the
Walter-Eversheim-Stiftung as well as for quality prizes and the much sought-after internship
at Lufhansa Technik Logistik Services GmbH, which could serve as a stepping stone for the future.
The winning team "JAPH" from RWTH Aachen University,
consisting of Hans Heikenfeld, Andre Heßler and Jan-Phillip Scheifers,
distinguished themselves from the other teams through their presented concept.
The teams "InnovIngs 2012" from RWTH Aachen University and "upLIFT" from the FH Köln and
RWTH Aachen University took second and third place.

23.02.2012: The Case Competition finals were held successfully!
On Monday, the 23.02.2012, the final was held on the premises of the FIR at RWTH Aachen.
The six best teams had the opportunity to present their concepts in front of the jury.
All teams presented their concepts highly deticated and motivated to the members of the jury,
consisting of Lufhansa Technik Logistik Services GmbH representatives, the University of Maastricht and the FIR at RWTH Aachen.
The six best teams are:

- Team Grenzdenker
- Team Logicstics
- Team InnovIngs 2012
- Team JAPH
- Team upLIFT
Innovings 2012, JAPH and upLIFT gained the upper hand against their comeptitors and will be honored by the
Walter-Eversheim-Stiftung at the
15th Aachener Dienstleistungsforum on March 21st 2012.

14.11.2011: Successful kick-off event in Frankfurt!
On December 14th, 2011 the kick-off event for more than 60 participating students was successfully held at Frankfurt Airport.
The students from RWTH Aachen University, Maastricht University and FH Köln were introduced to the company and the case by employees of Lufthansa Technik Logistik GmbH.
During a tour through the warehouse facilities and the hangar of the new Airbus A380, they were able to gather first impressions and ideas for their concepts.
With the help of Lufthansa Technik Logistik GmbH and employees of the participating universities, these concepts will be developed until the end of January 2012.
The winning teams will be honored by Walter Eversheim Foundation on March 21st, 2012 at the
15th Aachener Service Forum.

17.03.2011: Awards ceremony at the Dienstleistungsforum!
On Thursday, the 17.03.2011, the awards ceremony of the first Service-Innovation-Awards of the Walter-Eversheim-Stiftung
was held during the evening event of the 14th Aachener Dienstleistungsforum.
From November 2010 until February 2011, 38 students in 18 teams from the RWTH Aachen
and Maastricht University competed for the Innovation Award "Dienstleistung 2011" of the
Walter-Eversheim-Stiftung as well as for prizes in kind and the much sought-after internship
at Philips, which could serve as a stepping stone for the feature.
The winning team "KISD" of the Service-Science-Factory at Maastricht University,
consisting of Christina Becker, Jennifer Loser und Paul Seidel,
established themselves through their concept against the other teams
The teams "InnovIngs" and "trUMotion" took second and third place.

25.11.2010: The Case Competition 2010 has begun!
On Thursday, November 25th 2010, the kick-off event was successfully held in the Service-Science
InnovationLab at FIR at RWTH Aachen.
19 teams consisting of 39 participants, coming from Maastricht and Aachen, apply for the Service Innovation
Award in 2011 und attended the kick-off-event.
Each member of the attending teams has received its own DirectLife and can test this in practice now.
The concepts are going to be prepared until January 15th, 2011 and finally the winning team will
be honored by Walter Eversheim Foundation at the 14th Aachener Service Forum.
